Slow Harvest at Leicester Cathedral
On Saturday 30 October, 9am – 3pm, Leicester Cathedral, in association with Slow Food Rutland and Lincolnshire, celebrates Harvest 2010 with ‘Slow Harvest’ – a day of celebration of food, grown and prepared in and around Leicestershire with up to 25 stalls inside the Cathedral, craft and artist stalls in the Cathedral Visitor Centre, food demonstrations and tastings during the day and related workshops in the Cathedral precinct. A traditional paysanne soup and bread lunch will be available throughout the day in the Cathedral.
Slow down, as we invite community and families into the enriching space of Leicester Cathedral – enriching the soul and now Slow Harvest enriching the body.
Slow down, and spend a day watching local food being prepared and eat with friends and family in and around the Cathedral.
